Paints with low-VOC or no-VOC paints are great choices for interior painting projects as they allow a faster move in time due to reduced odors from the paint.

When selecting a paint for your interior/exterior painting project look for the following:

• Paints that are low-VOC or no-VOC
• GREENGUARD certification
• Latex base or acrylic base paints are biodegradeable.
• Oil based paints require paint thinners or mineral spirits to clean which are harmful to environment
• Recyclable paints
• Look for eco-friendly paints that have custom color palettes as not all come with the option for custom tinting.
